Hanging plastic bag organiser

My craft box. 

 

PENUH. PADAT. SEPAH.

Well I blame it all on pinterest! Gila addictive weh benda tu. Semua benda aku nak pin. Tapi satu haprak pun tak buat. Ni normal sequence of events..

 

• Browse pinterest. Nampak benda best..kena pin dulu, takut besok lupa.
• Masuk ebay/online store..cari bahan2. 
• Lepas tu either..

1. Weekend comes..ahh malas pulak. Catch up on sleep. Eh dah malam ahad pulak. Projek tertangguh sampai next weekend. Next week benda lain pulak, besday party la, makan2 la, tgk wayang la. Week after week tak buat2 jugak. Lama2 kau pun dah hilang mood/motivation.
2. Buat. Tapi hasilnya tak secantik pinterest. Ataupun kau attempt buat, tapi tak reti, frustrated, pastu buat separuh jalan aje. 

• Bahan2 yang banyak nak mampos (beli in bulk sebab ingat jimat..read: tamak)..just dump it in the craft box. Saya berpegang kepada prinsip keep it hidden/stored, and deal with it later. Tapi since aritu nak kena pindah rumah it eventually catches up on me. I just can’t believe the amount of junk I’ve bought & accumulated over these years. Gila banyak..

 

Kain ber-ela2…walaupun aku tak pass pun jahit baju. Dan juga I am not a quilter. Tapi just can’t resist the cute prints (and also the fabrics on sale!)

 

Butang beratus2 bijik…walaupun aku tak pernah buat scrapbook. I was once into making clips and head bands.

 

Zipper sampai lebih limapuloh..refer above, re tak reti jahit baju. Beli zipper sebab nak buat makeup bags. I ended up sewing about 10 bags as Christmas gifts. But it did not justify buying over 50 (!?!) zippers.

 

Yarn sampai bermeter2..walaupun dah lebih 2 tahun tak pegang crochet hook. Ada almost semua colour. Nak berapa ply punya yarn? 2 ply? 4 ply? macam2 ply aku ada. Nak wool? Cotton? Synthetic? Dah macam kedai pulak aku rasa.

 

Felt ada berkeping2..again, for the head clips craze period.

 

Scrap leather ada sebeg penuh..don’t ask me, aku pun dah lupa kenapa beli. But I’m sure I must have had a nifty craft to tackle on at that time.

 

Gunting pun ada banyak giler. Untuk gunting kain satu, untuk guting kertas satu, untuk buat border kertas satu, pinking shears ada satu, gunting spare satu. Rotary cutter ada, cutting mat ada, square ruler pun ada. 

 

Gosh.

 

Anywhoo..barang dah ada. Masa..ok la sebenarnya boleh cari masa, instead of membazir 2 jam berangan atas katil every saturday mornings, aku akan gunakan masa tu untuk create something untuk utalise bahan2 yang melambak2 dalam craft box tu. Skills…hmm so so sahaja. Tapi takpe la bukan aku nak masuk pertandingan ke ape. 

 

First creative attempt..jahit hanging plastic bag organiser. I was too cheap to buy the $1.99 Ikea plastic bag dispenser. Plus sebab nak utalise bahan2 yang melambak2 dalam storage bag tu. 

 

One of the easiest thing to sew. Straight line stitching all the way. Easy peasy. Macam rupa bolster aka bantal kepit kat kangkang pun ada..

Lookey here, I even have a sewing cabinet. Macam tukang jahit semi professional gittew. Padahal aktiviti menjahit suam2 kuku aje. Sewing machine tersorok diam2 dalam cabinet. So I won't be constantly reminded of the investment made (read: $$ waste $$) in buying the machine kalau jahit pun setahun sekali aje.

Me: Plastik semua I dah letak dekat situ tau (pointing towards laundry room). Nanti letak plastik dalam tu, jangan sumbat dalam drawer lagi.

Me: Nampak tak drawer ni dulu sepah macam mana??
